On the drawing board

Work In Progress. From conception to completion...

Body blank with routing template in position

Rear view of body after shaping

Finished body and scratch plate prior to staining

Stained body prior to final lacquer

Inlay materials are chosen to highlight their individual qualities

The first sections are laid up and glued onto the template

The final template ready for inlaying

The finished inlay after careful polishing

Frets are pressed in using my custom built fret-press (Arbor)

Finished Headstock

Fully fretted inlay

Finished Guitar

Every Lindsay Wilson Guitar is unique,  but they all take a lot of time and dedication. Here you can see a new model from the drawing board, through all of the workshop processes to the finished instrument.

The design works well with the shape of the guitar and the colors are great.

I like it.

Best wishes, Larry
